Iliana is a Project Manager at JKA and works on a wide range of commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. In her nearly 10 years of experience with JKA, she has led several projects from schematic design through construction administration. Iliana has been the lead personnel on the historical renovation of the Found Hotel in San Diego’s Gas Lamp District. There she has overseen the tenant improvements of the 186-room, historically listed, but partially abandoned, non-code-compliant high-rise residential facility into a fully realized 157-key hotel.

Iliana worked as the Job Captain for two Project Homekey housing projects in Los Angeles County. Completed in September 2023, she oversaw the conversion of two adjacent motels in the City of Culver City into 73 units of emergency shelter and transitional housing for those experiencing homelessness or those at risk. She then oversaw the conversion of the historic Holloway Motel in the City of West Hollywood to create 20 units of transitional housing. Through historic renovation projects Iliana has learned how to reuse structures and build a bridge between past and present design.
