With fourteen years of experience working on a wide range of architectural types, Chris Sullivan joined JKA as a Project Manager in 2021. His previous experience includes high-end residential, retail, brand, and hospitality projects including a multi-million dollar national remodel program for Ulta Beauty. Most recently, he was the regional architectural operations manager of a startup overseeing the launch of hundreds of commercial “ghost” kitchens across the US. For this project he developed standards for drawings, procedures for permitting to increase jurisdictional officials’ buy-in, and coordination of facilities’ launches.

At JKA, Chris oversees the firm’s multi-family housing projects that range in size from 15 to 130 units in size. This work focuses on delivering high quality design, drawings, and specifications on time and within budget. His interest in the intersection of modularity, prefabrication, and generative design tools is now leading JKA towards implementing its first modular multi-family projects for missing-middle housing. In addition to the multi-family work, Chris is overseeing the implementation of a 70,000 square foot urban agriculture facility and developing JKA quality assurance and control procedures. Away from work, he composes music with software and digital instruments.
