Calabasas Study Session

This week, JKA presented the objective design standards framework to the City of Calabasas during a second study session with the Architectural Review Panel and Planning Commission. JKA presented “case studies,” of sketched over photos of buildings that were ranked as the least liked from the Calabasas ODS community survey in June. These sketches depict what could be revised so the building would be in compliance with the ODS framework. JKA and the City discussed lighting, open space, canopy trees, and the architectural style in Old Town Calabasas which will help inform the administrative ODS draft.
